Glasgow, G40 1AT | Approx 136 acres

Glasgow Green is one of the city’s most well known public green spaces and also the oldest, dating back to the late 15th century. The park, which runs along the banks of the River Clyde to the east of the city centre, includes large open spaces, a network of well maintained paths and roads, play areas and various monuments. One of the most important monuments is The Doulton Fountain, the largest terracotta fountain in the world. Sadly the People’s Palace, a large glasshouse and museum, has been closed since 2019. The park hosts large public events like TRNSMT music festival and The World Pipe Band Championships. Read more about the park here. (16/09/25)
