St Mungo Avenue, Glasgow, G4 OPG | Approx 1.6 acres

Just east of the city centre and Buchanan Street bus station, the housing development between St Mungo Avenue and Kennedy Street has a considerable amount of green space. Although not all of the area is well maintained it includes a number of public art pieces to celebrate Charles Rennie MacIntosh, a seating area surrounded by grass and trees, a play area and a sports area. The small shopping precinct was made famous as the home of Navid’s shop in the comedy series ‘Still Game’. Glasgow council has a development plan in process to improve the area including its green spaces and accessibility to the city centre and neighbouring areas. (16/09/25)
